Using a current clamp, the MGFL100 detects and alarms when a real fault is identified, distinguishing it from reactive currents caused by system capacitance. The device directly measures ground fault resistance, system stray capacitance, fault current, and leakage current—ensuring precise diagnostics even in complex systems with high impedance or moisture-related faults.
