Application: The MIC-5050 meter is designed to measure the insulation resistance of electrical power objects such as cables, transformers, motors, capacitors, switches, and other devices in power stations. It’s also suitable for areas with high electromagnetic disturbances, such as electrical substations with 765 kV voltage or higher.
Capabilities: The meter offers precise insulation resistance measurements up to 20 TΩ with a 5 kV test voltage and 6 mA current. It uses a three-wire method to eliminate surface leakage currents for more accurate results. It measures temperature for correction factors, indicates absorption coefficients, PI, and DD values. The device enables incremental voltage testing (SV) for consistent results. It can test multi-core cables efficiently using the AutoISO-5000 adapter. Built-in digital filters ensure stable measurements in electromagnetic interference.
