Sonel MIC-5005 Insulation resistance meter
The Sonel MIC-5005 insulation resistance meter is a reliable tool for measuring insulation resistance up to 15 TΩ. Its maximum measurement current of 1.2 mA or 3 mA ensures rapid charging of high-capacity objects. Each measurement, whether programmed or manually interrupted, concludes with the meter discharging the object.
The device incorporates unique algorithms to identify the voltage nature on the object. It can distinguish between mains voltage (no measurement) and voltage generated by an electromagnetic field (measurement). This capability allows measurements in the presence of strong electromagnetic fields, where it wasn’t previously possible.
Equipped with accessories meeting rigorous standards, the MIC-5005 ensures safety during measurements at all available voltages. These accessories, including test leads, probes, and crocodile clips, come with a convenient carrying case. The device’s strong resistance to interference permits the use of cables up to 20 m in length for measurements.
Key Features:
- Voltage measurement range: 50 to 5000 V (adjustable in steps), also 50 to 1000 V in 10 V steps, and 1 to 5 kV in 25 V steps.
