The Personal Voltage Detector is engineered to detect electric fields in the medium voltage range. Ideal for use in settings such as transformer substations and overhead power lines, it serves as an additional safety device for individual operators.
Features
- Detection Range:
- 10kV: Warns users at an approximate distance of 1 metre.
- 66kV: Warns users at an approximate distance of 3 metres.
- Sensor Type: Omnidirectional electric field detector, capable of detecting electric fields in all directions.
- Notification:
- Emits a continuous sound signal when the operator enters the danger zone (within 1m for 10kV and 3m for 66kV).
- The sound stops only when the operator moves out of the dangerous electric field.
- Operating Frequencies:
- Compatible with both 50Hz and 60Hz frequencies.
- Power Supply:
- Operates on two LR-03 batteries.
