The SMRT410 test system is versatile thanks to the ability to customise it with Voltage-Current modules, known as VIGEN, according to specific test applications. Combining high compliance voltage and high current, the SMRT410 is well-equipped to test all types of overcurrent relays such as electromechanical, solid-state, and microprocessor-based, including those that are voltage controlled, voltage restraint, and high impedance directional ground overcurrent.

  • High Power Output: VIGEN modules deliver substantial power in both voltage and current channels, accommodating virtually all types of protective relays.
  • Manual Control Interface: Operate manually with Megger’s new Smart Touch View Interface (STVI), featuring a large, full-colour, high-resolution TFT LCD touch screen. Users can execute manual, steady-state, and dynamic testing efficiently through the manual test screen and built-in preset test routines for widely used relays.
  • Small, Rugged and Lightweight: The system is designed to be portable, durable, and powerful.
  • Flexible Output Design: Provides up to four-phase voltage and up to ten-phase current.
  • High Current Output: Delivers high current and high power output (60 Amps/300 VA rms) per phase.
  • Network Interface: Supports IEC 61850 test capabilities.
  • Computer Independence: Operates effectively with or without a computer.
  • Automated Testing: For fully automatic testing, control the SMRT410 with Megger Advanced Visual Test Software (AVTS). AVTS, compatible with Microsoft Windows XP/Vista/7, manages all protective relay testing aspects using the new Megger SMRT.
  • Data Storage and Transfer: Test results can be saved to the STVI and downloaded to a memory stick for transfer or printing of test reports.
  • User-friendly Operation: Intuitive manual operation is facilitated through Smart Touch View Interface.
