Gossen Metrawatt MAVOWATT 50 3-Phase Energy & Power Disturbance Analyzer

The Gossen Metrawatt MAVOWATT 50 is an energy and power disturbance analyzer capable of performing power and energy analysis in power supply systems, as well as at the outputs of frequency converters. It offers harmonic analysis up to the 50th harmonic, including sub-harmonics, and ensures mains quality per EN50160 with a statistical bar graph (Quick View). Additionally, it provides flicker analysis in accordance with EN 61000-4-15. The device includes 8 isolated measuring circuits (4 for voltage and 4 for current) with a 100 kHz sampling rate per circuit.

The Gossen Metrawatt MAVOWATT 50 is designed to measure electrical quantities in DC systems and single and three-phase AC systems under any load. Its eight isolated measuring circuits—four each for voltage and current—prevent equalizing currents and enable simultaneous measurement of phase and neutral conductor voltage and current. By connecting a suitable measuring transducer, the fourth channel can alternatively measure other physical quantities such as the temperature of a motor or transformer, or the wind speed at a wind power turbine.

The MAVOWATT 50 is suitable for both stationary use and portable applications. Its integrated rechargeable battery ensures operation for several minutes in the event of a power failure.
