Fluke 435 Series Power Quality & Energy Analyzer
The Fluke 435 Series is a three-phase power quality and energy analyser for diagnosing supply problems, running load studies and quantifying the financial cost of energy waste. It captures fast RMS values to display every waveform, so you can see how voltage, current and frequency interact across all three phases and neutral. It is built for engineers who need to find intermittent faults, verify system capacity and prove energy savings before and after a change.
Brand and standards
Fluke is one of the most trusted names in electrical test and measurement, and Powerpoint Engineering is an authorised Fluke distributor in Ireland. The 435 Series displays ten power quality parameters on a single screen in line with the EN 50160 supply-voltage standard, giving you a recognised reference point when reporting to clients or utilities. Every measurement is recorded automatically without setup, so nothing is missed during a survey.
Applications
The 435 Series suits power quality and energy work across commercial, industrial and utility installations:
- Calculating the financial cost of energy waste caused by poor power quality
- Load studies to verify electrical system capacity before adding loads
- Long-term logging to uncover hard-to-find or intermittent issues
- Measuring power inverter efficiency and inverter system performance
- Characterising dynamics such as generator start-ups and UPS switching

FAQs
Does the Fluke 435 measure energy cost and not just power quality?
Yes. As well as logging ten power quality parameters, the 435 Series has an energy loss calculator that puts a financial figure on waste caused by poor power quality. You can also quantify energy consumption before and after an installation change to prove the saving.
How long can the analyser log for in the field?
The Li-ion battery pack gives up to 7 hours per charge, and you can run mains-powered for long-term surveys. It stores up to 600 parameters at user-defined intervals and records every measurement automatically, so it suits intermittent fault-finding over extended periods.
Can Powerpoint Engineering calibrate my Fluke 435?
Yes. Our in-house calibration and repair laboratory services Fluke power quality analysers and issues traceable certificates. Speak to our calibration team to book a slot and keep your instrument measurement-ready.
