Fluke 374 True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter
The Fluke 374 is a true-RMS AC/DC clamp meter for measuring current and voltage on live circuits without breaking the loop. It reads up to 600 A and 600 V through the jaw, and pairs with the optional iFlex flexible probe to extend the current range to 2500 A AC. It is built for electricians and maintenance technicians who need accurate, repeatable readings in the field.
Brand and standards
Fluke is one of the most trusted names in electrical test and measurement, and Powerpoint Engineering is an authorised Fluke distributor in Ireland. The 374 is rated CAT IV 600 V and CAT III 1000 V to EN/IEC 61010, so it is cleared for work from the service entrance down to final circuits. Proprietary inrush measurement filters out noise and captures motor starting current the way the circuit protection sees it. The instrument carries a three-year warranty.
Applications
The 374 suits day-to-day current and voltage measurement across commercial and industrial work:
- Motor and drive troubleshooting, including inrush current at start-up
- Periodic inspection and fault-finding on fixed installations
- Load checks on distribution boards and busbars
- Measuring awkward or hard-to-reach conductors with the optional iFlex probe

FAQs
Does the Fluke 374 measure both AC and DC current?
Yes. The 374 is a true-RMS meter that measures AC and DC current through the jaw up to 600 A, and AC and DC voltage up to 600 V, so it reads accurately on non-linear and distorted waveforms.
Do I need the iFlex probe?
Only if you need to measure beyond 600 A or reach awkward conductors. The optional iFlex flexible probe extends the range to 2500 A AC and wraps around large or hard-to-reach cables. It is sold separately.
Can Powerpoint Engineering calibrate my Fluke 374?
Yes. Our in-house calibration and repair laboratory services Fluke clamp meters and issues traceable certificates. Speak to our calibration team to book a slot.
