Fluke 360 AC Leakage Current Clamp Meter

The Fluke 360 is a dedicated AC leakage current clamp meter, built to find and document the small leakage currents that a standard clamp meter cannot resolve. It measures from 1 microamp right up to 60 A, with 1 microamp resolution in the 3 mA range, so it covers both tiny leakage paths and general current measurement in one compact, rugged tool. A selectable filter strips out unwanted noise, and True RMS measurement keeps readings accurate on the complex signals real installations produce.

Supplied by Powerpoint Engineering as an authorised Fluke distributor, the 360 has a 1.5 inch (38 mm) jaw that fits around the conductors where leakage needs to be checked.

What the Fluke 360 measures

  • AC leakage current from 1 microamp up to 60 A
  • 1 microamp resolution in the 3 mA range, for the smallest leakage paths
  • True RMS readings for accuracy on complex, distorted signals
  • A selectable filter to remove unwanted high-frequency noise

Why leakage current matters

Leakage current is current that escapes its intended path, often to earth through ageing insulation, moisture or capacitive coupling. Too much of it trips RCDs for no obvious reason, wastes energy and signals deteriorating insulation. Measuring it without breaking the circuit, at microamp resolution, lets you trace a nuisance trip back to the circuit causing it rather than guessing, which is the difference between a quick fix and a day lost to fault-finding.

FAQs

Why use a dedicated leakage current clamp meter?

A leakage clamp resolves microamp-level currents that a general clamp meter cannot, and it measures without breaking the circuit. That lets you trace RCD nuisance trips and failing insulation back to the specific circuit responsible.

How small a current can the Fluke 360 measure?

Down to 1 microamp, with 1 microamp resolution in the 3 mA range, while still measuring up to 60 A at the top end. That span covers both leakage detection and general current checks.

Does the Fluke 360 need regular calibration?

Yes. To keep leakage and current readings traceable, calibrate the clamp meter on a set interval. Our in-house laboratory calibrates and repairs Fluke instruments and issues traceable certificates.
