Fluke 1748 Three-Phase Power Quality Logger
The Fluke 1748 is the top model in the 1740 series of three-phase power quality loggers, built to find the root cause of power quality problems, not just record that they happened. It logs over 500 different parameters for each averaging period and captures event waveforms and RMS event profiles with date, timestamp and severity, so you can correlate intermittent events with detailed waveform data. Like the rest of the series it measures to IEC 61000-4-30 Class A Edition 3, for results you can rely on and defend.
Supplied by Powerpoint Engineering as an authorised Fluke distributor, the 1748 ships with iFlex current probes and works with Fluke Energy Analyze Plus, WiFi and Fluke Connect for download, analysis and remote review.
What the Fluke 1748 captures
- Over 500 parameters per averaging period for detailed power quality analysis
- Event waveform capture and RMS event profile with date, timestamp and severity
- Three-phase and neutral voltage and current to IEC 61000-4-30 Class A Edition 3
- Harmonics, power, energy and the full set of power quality parameters
Built for root-cause analysis
Intermittent disturbances are the hardest to pin down. The 1748 records the waveform around an event alongside its severity and timestamp, so instead of knowing only that a trip occurred you can see what the voltage and current were doing at that instant. That is the difference between guessing and diagnosing, and it shortens the path to a fix on critical power distribution systems.

Fluke 1748 compared with the 1746 and 1742
Choose the 1748 when you need detailed root-cause analysis of power quality disturbances. The Fluke 1746 covers power quality logging for energy studies and network planning, and the Fluke 1742 is the entry logger for simple load and energy studies.
Calibration and support
- Supplied and supported in Ireland by an authorised Fluke distributor
- Calibrated and repaired in our own lab with traceable certificates
- Backed by on-site power quality monitoring survey services
Keep the logger accurate through our calibration and repair laboratory. Full figures are on the official Fluke 1742, 1746 and 1748 datasheet and across the wider Fluke power quality range.
FAQs
How many parameters does the Fluke 1748 log?
The 1748 logs over 500 different parameters for each averaging period, which is what allows the detailed power quality analysis and root-cause work that the lower models in the series are not designed for.
What is event waveform capture for?
It records the voltage and current waveform around a disturbance, with its severity and timestamp, so you can correlate intermittent events with what the supply was actually doing and pinpoint the root cause.
Does the Fluke 1748 need regular calibration?
Yes. To keep power quality measurements traceable and defensible, calibrate the logger on a set interval. Our in-house laboratory calibrates and repairs Fluke loggers and issues traceable certificates.
