Beha-Amprobe KMP7021 - Digital RCD Tester w/ Ramp Test

SKU: Beha-Amprobe KMP7021

The Robin-Amprobe KMP7021 Digital RCD tester w/ Ramp Test is a simple and easy-to-use device designed to check for the correct operation of RCD devices. It features three levels of trip currents with either Fast Trip or Ramp Test for complete range of testing applications.

A residual-current or RCD device disconnects a circuit whenever the electric current is not balanced between the energized and the neutral conductors. The imbalance indicates that there is a leakage of current from the system sometimes caused by touching the energized part of the circuit accidentally, and sometimes due to a lack of sufficient insulation (excessive moisture, wear or poor quality insulation materials). An RCD is designed to disconnect quickly to mitigate the harm caused by such shocks and to avoid current leaks which could lead to fire and other dangerous situations.
